How do you collect flowers?

We gather flowers from local events (such as weddings or parties), florists, grocery stores, and donors who want to give their flowers a second life. We then carefully arrange and deliver them to and nursing homes!

How can I donate flowers?

If you are interested donating flowers, please use the contact form on our website to get in touch with us. One of our volunteers will reach out to provide more information about how Flower Forward collects donations. We aim to make the donation process as easy as possible and will come to you to pick up flowers. We accept donations from events, florists, grocery stores, and more.

Where do you donate the flowers?

We currently deliver to nursing homes and hospice care facilities in the Boston and Milton Area. Our goal is to expand to more locations as we grow!

Can I donate in honor of someone?

Absolutely! If you’d like to make a donation in honor or memory of a loved one, let us know, and we can include a special note with one of our floral deliveries.

How can nursing homes partner with Flower Forward?

We gift donated flowers to nursing homes and other care facilities.  If you’d like to be a recipient, please fill out the contact form and one of our volunteers will reach out to share more information. We always bring flowers directly to you at a time that is convenient.

How can grocery stores, florists, or event planners partner with Flower Forward?

We’re always looking for partners who want to give their unsold or leftover flowers a second life! Grocery stores, florists, and event planners can donate fresh blooms that would otherwise go to waste. We’ll arrange pickup or drop-off at a time that works for you. Partnering with us is a great way to reduce waste while spreading joy to those in need! Reach out through our website or email to get started.

Do you take artificial flowers?

Currently, we focus on repurposing fresh flowers, but if you have high-quality artificial flowers you’d like to donate, we will definitely make good use of them. We are able to use these flowers for people with certain allergies.

Can I volunteer with Flower Forward?

Yes! Volunteers are essential to our mission. You can help by arranging flowers, assisting with deliveries, or spreading the word about our project. Sign up through our website to get involved! We are currently only accepting volunteers in the Boston/Milton area, but hope to be able to hire people in different areas as we grow!
